Lecturers lined up in traditional Indonesian attire alongside black-and-white formal wear, symbolizing cultural diversity and unity among the academic community. GUNUNGKIDUL, August 13, 2026 – In an effort to strengthen academic quality and operational readiness for teaching and learning, the Department of Soil Science held an Academic Workshop (Konsinyering) on Thursday, August 13, 2026. The intensive meeting, hosted at Hotel Santika Gunungkidul, brought together faculty members from the Department of Soil Science to align quality assurance strategies and upcoming curricula.

The workshop was led by the Head of the Soil Science Department, Dr. Makruf Nurudin, S.P., M.P., alongside the Department Secretary, Dr. Agr. Cahyo Wulandari, S.P., M.P., the Head of the Undergraduate Program, Nur ‘Ainun Harlin Jennie Pulungan, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and the Head of the Master’s Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Benito Heru Purwanto, M.P., M.Agr.Sc.
