On 27 April 2025, the Hardjono Danoesastro Auditorium at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), served as the venue for a highly anticipated Family Gathering organized by KMIT UGM under the leadership of the Aruna Adhibrata Cabinet. This work program was part of the Student Resource Development (PSDM) division and aimed to strengthen relationships among students, educational staff, and lecturers of the Department of Soil Science, UGM.
The Family Gathering was designed as a syawalan event, a traditional celebration marking the conclusion of the Idul Fitri festivities. The event provided an opportunity for active Soil Science students from various cohorts to come together, share experiences, and build a sense of togetherness. The program featured a series of engaging activities, including communal meals, game sessions, and a mutual forgiveness ceremony. These activities were intended to enhance collaboration between students and faculty, creating a supportive environment that encourages both academic and personal growth. By bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds, the Family Gathering sought to promote mutual understanding and cooperation, which are essential elements of development at both local and global levels.
