The soil science is not only limited to agriculture perspective. It also has developed into other perspectives of human life and environment. Soil is not only as a growth medium, but also as an ecosystem, landscape, geosphere, earth energy system, and resources.
Therefore, the educational philosophy of Soil Science is “Sustainable soil management”, because soil science is an integrated science which is purposed to achieve sustainable environment in the Earth.
