During the meeting, participants discussed and agreed upon the activity scheme to be carried out by the students over the next four to five months. This collaborative approach was designed to enhance the students’ learning experience while addressing the needs of the Magelang community. The students officially began their activities at BPBD Magelang on 10 February 2025.
Throughout the internship period, students will be involved in various BPBD activities while also developing essential soft skills. These activities are intended to deepen their understanding of the complexities involved in disaster management and the importance of community resilience.
Furthermore, the collaboration between BPBD Magelang and the university is expected to create a sustainable model for future internship programs. By adapting the program based on feedback and outcomes, both parties aim to continuously improve the student experience and the effectiveness of disaster management strategies in the region.
