The expected learning outcomes (ELOs) of Soil Science Study Program are:
- To recall academic ethics, values of devotion and humanity, as well as legal norms in the life of society and nation
- To understand soil forming factors, soil forming processes, and soil properties
- To identify condition and problems in land, water, and atmosphere
- To identify condition and problems of crops in agricultural cultivation
- To apply logical and systematical thinking, sciences, and technology to their area of expertise
- To solve problems in land, water, and atmosphere
- To implement water management and land management for optimal land, sub-optimal land, and specific land i.e. in volcanic area, karst area, marine area
- To evaluate land suitability and land capability, as well as, alternative sustainable land use
- To assess the output of research and scientific study
- To develop networking in agriculture field
Evaluation of learning outcomes for all subjects applied in the Soil Science Study Program is shown in Figure 1. The courses applied for 8 semesters are intended to reflect learning outcomes that form the basis of the teaching-learning process activities in the Soil Science Study Program.
